We are aware of an industry-wide issue affecting some Unmanaged Hosting servers running cPanel with MySQL 8.4. During nightly system updates, certain environments may automatically upgrade to MySQL 9.7, which can cause the MySQL service to stop responding or appear offline.
Please note that this issue is not caused by our infrastructure and originates from an upstream MySQL repository behavior impacting cPanel-managed updates.
